great beachfront experience but parking is pricey

The room we had was a double with an incredible sea view, making our stay much more enjoyable. The shower room was spacious and very well appointed, adding comfort to our experience.

Parking is only available in the underground garage at a high daily rate.

I had a lovely stay with a great buffet breakfast and really enjoyed the beautiful sea view from my top-floor room. Also, the evening meal was excellent value!

Just a heads up, the hotel's specialty coffee situation wasn't ideal. But overall, a fantastic place to unwind and enjoy the sun!

Just a reliable pick for resting while in Santander with high value for money. The breakfast buffet was very good. Try to explore the nearby small bar with a wide range of rums and gins.

I had a beautiful stay with a room that boasted breathtaking ocean views and a lovely terrace to enjoy the scenery. The beachfront location was perfect for long walks and relaxing by the sea. The restaurant offered an excellent meal for a reasonable price, making dining enjoyable. However, I found the breakfast options a bit underwhelming compared to what I expected for the price.

The Gran Hotel Sardinero has a beautiful location right across from the beach. I loved the spacious sea view room with amazing views from multiple balconies. The room felt more like an apartment and was spotlessly clean. Staff were generally friendly and helpful. The breakfast had a decent variety, although I found it lacking in fresh hot options like eggs, which were often cold. I also missed having coffee-making facilities in the room. it would’ve made mornings much nicer. Getting to the ferry terminal was convenient, and the bar had great coffee.

The rooms are spacious, and the sea view from our junior suite was mesmerizing. The location opposite the beach was perfect for family fun. We had a delightful time exploring the nearby promenades and dining at the hotel’s cafeteria, which offered tasty options.

In my kids' opinion, having a mini fridge in the room would have been great for snacks.
